2/19/16 - I'm listening to the audio-version of this book about Steve Jobs. What amazes me is all the arguments he got into and all the disagreements and breakups he had with his fellow workers. Yet he still managed to be a success.

At the GR review of Katy, she says:
=====================================
"At over 600 pages, it is long, and in the beginning, somewhat tedious, but the final third is fascinating. This was the period when Jobs returned to Apple, and developed the iPod and iTunes; the iPhone, iPad, and iCloud, inventions that have changed our world forever. Consider this fact: today’s smart phones have as much computing power as the computers NASA used to put our astronauts on the moon -- smart phones! "
...
"Although he was often an unpleasant, even repellant individual, Jobs was also an incredible genius. His uncompromising commitment to the integration of engineering and design is what made Apple products so unique. Former employees who put up with his abusive and demeaning behavior agree as they look back on their Apple experience, that this was the most exciting time of their working lives. The fact that Isaacson can describe these conflicting characteristics so well and still present Jobs as a sympathetic person makes this a fascinating and compelling biography."
