This book has been a brutally honest depiction of Steve Jobs life, bringing both his good and bad characteristics to light. Much lore has already been told of this man who became myth-like in his own time, but this well-researched biography provides lots of interesting, insightful, and amusing stories. Its as if the reader works for Steve and develops the same kind of love/hate feelings toward him that I'm certain many of his real-life employees felt. The stories are so real and detailed that you feel awe for Steve's charm, charisma, and inspiration, and likewise are revolted by his rudeness and general treatment of people. But some of the biggest takeaways for me are his focus (especially the chapters when he starts slashing everything after returning to Apple), his general lack of money-motivation (as he told Larry Ellison, "you have enough money")
