A book in need of a good editor. Probably rushed to capitalize on the subject's death. Most of what is covered here has been covered before but if you are like me and have never bothered to read up on Jobs before then you would not feel cheated. Those who have, though, might feel a feeling of deja vu.

My low ratings for this book was because I felt that the biography lacked depth. While reading about Jobs jerk attitude, his founding of Apple with Steve Wozniak, his ouster from Apple, formation of NeXT and return to Apple were all interesting, I kept looking for the devil in the details and 'he' was missing. For example, Isaacson never explored the suggestion that his subject could have a Narcissistic Personality Disorder or at the very least a bi-polar disorder. He also wrote that people around Jobs were often mesmerized by him and would accomplish things he told them to do, even though they at first thought it was impossible. But how did they achieve those things?

An interesting book on the life of a visionary who was a bit of a jerk.

Khairul Hezry baru belek-belek buku ni...rupanya ayah kandung SJ ni "a Muslim teaching assistant from Syria". Dia tak kawin ibu si SJ w/pun dah mengandung sbb tidak direstui keluarga (keluarga si laki).

Half-Arab la, si Jobs rupanya.
