Walter Isaacson is a great writer and this is a really good book. Steve Jobs is an ass and I'm glad I never suffered his wrath, but this book does a good job of showing the huge positive impact that he had (despite, not because of) his brutal nature. Below the shithead exterior, Steve Jobs' focus on create a simple end-to-end solution for customers made products better. He pushed people to achieve what they did not think they could achieve themselves and had a huge impact on American culture across four decades. While I would never want someone to emulate him, I am thankful for the positive impact he made.
