it was amazing
bookshelves: 2016-books

I listened to the audio book on a long driving trip. Although the detail was a bit suffocating at times, overall it was nearly completely gripping and interesting. I felt like I could understand the man, even though he must have been extremely complex. Several of my friends in the semiconductor industry had several interactions with Jobs, and the interactions ranged from trusting to "Who the fuck are you?" All in all, this was one of the most fascinating tales of a real person I've ever read, and I agree with the summary comments of the biographer that Jobs will go down in history as a genius, albeit with all the trappings that go with such supremely talented human beings. Apple would be nothing at all without his spirit and maniacal drive and direction. This book is a story of a lifetime. Get it and read it for sure!
