it was amazing

You could say I drank the "apple juice" long ago. How I haven't read this book sooner, I will never know. I bought this book in the iBooks store, read it on my iPad with my iPhone close by and my AppleTV on in the background. At one point in my life, I even took a detour from my chosen career because I had an opportunity to work for Apple, the best company in the world. I have seen firsthand the impact Steve Jobs had on the world as a whole, not just the tiny world I live in. As I read the book, I found him to be a shrewd business man, but also a very human and empathetic person who experienced his whole life in the most visceral way possible. I guess you could say that Steve Jobs was a man at the intersection of human and out of this world. I shivered as I read about some of his tirades, visualizing myself huddled in a corner. I smiled as I thought of some of my all-time favorite movies: Monsters, Inc. always brings a smile to my face. And I cried when I got to the end, remembering that sad day when he passed away, reliving it once again. He was a remarkable man and his legacy will live on for generations because Steve Jobs not only changed the way we see the world; he changed the way we live in it.

Thank you, Walter Isaacson, for sharing this remarkable man with us mere mortals.
