Steve Jobs

In life, we are told that there are certain rules we have to follow in order for society to work. Some men, became successful because they woke up one day and said "Screw your rules!" and became compelled to change things. For years, the way we have evolved has been through the challenge of dogmas that we believe to be certain but that became a safe clutch. Steve Jobs, defied everything and everyone to stand up for what he believed in. He believed in making great products above everything else and knew that certain things were necessary in order for that to happen: a quality team, great ideas, great design and most of all, the mix of all fields. Humanities and Technology, hand in hand.
Persistence and passion is the best way to describe the lesson that is shared throughout the book, wonderfully written by Walter Isaacson.
However, it also bears the reminder that, sometimes, obsessions can hold you back if you're not careful.
In short, my respect for Steve Jobs grew in a great proportion not only for what he was able to achieve but also for one simple fact: he wasn't afraid of having the world against him when he knew he was right.
