Steve Jobs

I think the author did well to represent Jobs and his life. While I think a lot of Jobs' reflections on his life were colored by his later success, he had incredible passion throughout his life. He created great products, and influenced the world with the way he implemented technology. I wonder if it could have all been done by someone who could build people up rather than tear them down so much. His methods of dealing with people were ruthless and downright mean most of the time, which he claimed was just honesty. But as intuitive as he was with the technology, I have a hard time believing (as did the author) that he couldn't apply that to his interactions with people, especially those in his family. While he accomplished some great things with Apple and Pixar, in my mind they were overshadowed by the type of person he was and the human collateral damage he left in his wake as he pursued his own goals.
