Read 2 times. Last read March 17, 2021 to March 24, 2021.
Second reading, March 2021
That this very lengthy book held me in same thrall as the first read, is testament to the brilliance of both the author and the subject.
First reading, November 2015
Steve jobs enthralled me. While reading this book I obsessively googled every person mentioned, every business strategy, every marketing concept.
This dirty hippy with unwashed feet and bad body odor was someone who inspired me to research business concepts more thoroughly. More creatively.
I was drawn to his personality. His methods. His sheer brilliance and utter madness that was threaded into the very essence of Apple.
Walter Isaacson has done a superb job of writing this memorable biography. He engages the reader throughout, portrays the good, the bad and the ugly (and the awesome too). He is thorough and consistent and covers the ground of this powerful personality who has radically changed major industries. A worthy read.
