Steve Jobs

I'm an apple fanboy and I love Steve Jobs so it was especially disappointing to read this biography. Steve Jobs lived this amazing and incredible life and touched the world in a way that no technology person ever has and yet the way this book was written was like the author had zero interest in the task at hand. It was a bland, chronological recap of Steve Jobs story, whitewashed in clear, readable prose with no drama and no passion. I really wish that Jobs had written this book himself or got the biographer who did Andre Agassi's bio Open, it would have been so much better. This was one product that Jobs would not have liked, not because it painted him like a prick, which every Jobs bio does, but because it did so in a really bland and boring way. Oh well, its still worth reading for hearing some Job's own words that are sparingly peppered throughout the book, but Mr. Issacson needs a big kick in the pants for this missed opportunity.
