Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson is a testament to Steve Jobs the visionary entrepreneur. It highlights his excellence as well as his flaws. The writer does not hide any facts or negative opinion about Jobs. Isaac walters was approached by Steve Jobs to write his biography and encouraged to him, to be earnest. Jobs realized that after his death there would be many books about him so he wanted one which was true to every single word.Issac walters delivers an excellent book written over 3 years, interviewing various people in Steves life be it his wife, colleagues but also his competitors most notably Bill Gates. The book starts from a child, his struggles about his adoption and the love for perfection he has gained from his father. Throughout we see Jobs fighting first Microsoft then Google and lastly his illness. The book highlights Steves impolite and bad mannered temperament. He sees the world in binary either loving something or calling it a piece of shit. We also see the philosophy behind apple which Jobs works hard to instill in the company so that it may continue to be brilliant even after he is gone. The author describes his desire for perfection and how he encouraged other to do the same.
