Steve Jobs

Before reading the book, I actually thought that Steve was more of a corporate guy for successfully building a company like Apple. I had no idea that he was a hippie, a rebel but one with strong principles. His personality is very interesting, he was zen-like in his lifestyle and his design of products but volatile in personality. The one thing that impressed me most and is staying with me is that his motivation and dedication to his beliefs and to his burning desire to build great products always seemed to come from a grander perspective, that of revolutionizing some aspect of the mankind rather than how much money will the company be making for launching a new product.
I also understand myself better why I am a faithful Apple person. I always appreciated the design and the intuitive experience it comes with all apple products but now after reading the book and knowing about all the passion behind it, kind of makes me appreciate my iPhone, iPad and Macbook a lot more.
I really enjoyed reading the book and the ending was very adequate. There's a quote extracted from a bob dylan song which made a lot of sense to me- "...if you are not busy being born, you're busy dying."
I really wished he had lived a little longer.
