The biography of Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson was the most well-written nonfiction book I've ever read to date. It tells the gripping tale of a journey about the life of an amazing individual, Steve Jobs, and at the same time denounces many "bandwagon" acclaims that people across the world have seemed to make of him. Even though looking at the overall thickness of the novel before reading it shocked me, after completing it I had no regrets and felt so rewarded to learn about Jobs' success and changes in his lifestyle as time went by. I got to be in the shoes of Steve Jobs himself, and learn his opinions on the world and the people around him, and how they viewed him. What was truly admirable though was the lack of bias. Jobs wasn't shown in the light of a great man all of the time. He had his flaws and wasn't the greatest person to work with at Apple sometimes. However, the way that Jobs happened to manage both Apple and his personal problems such as raising his children and having to struggle with terminal cancer really had an impact on me. Talking about such events really brings out the emotional aspects of Jobs' life, which no one ever really got to know about, as many believed he was just a rich man with very little to no problems. Moreover, the most truly remarkable aspect of this novel is that he lived such a full life with so many things going on that that the biography itself couldn't fully cover his story. As a whole, Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson is a must read, and will forever hold a place in my heart as one of the most inspiring books I have ever read in my life.
