WOW. What an amazing person. I think much more highly of him than I did prior to reading this book. Before I thought he wasn't much of a human being - just a brilliant mind. I no longer think so. I don't sympathize with his treatment of people, and I don't think there is any excuse to berate and/or scream profanity at someone. It's incredibly dehumanizing for both people. I do love his apparent detachment from money. In fact, I think that's what I most admire about Jobs. I am amazed by his innovation, intuition, and achievements, but I most admire his simplistic lifestyle. He was never owned or consumed by money. Isaacson does a great job with sequence and giving a wide-range picture of job with a lot of positive and negative commentary. The book could have used some more help from the editor. (Again, the word "data" is PLURAL. PLEASE, etc.) There were a few of those errors that always irritate me, and I expect more from a respectable author. Oh well. It's still a great read. I love the toys of my life for which Jobs is responsible - most especially my beloved iPod.
