really liked it

I am an Apple person. After years of Microsoft torture, I am now enjoying a symbiosis of computing joy that let's me work instead of constantly fix. With that being said, my husband thought I may like to read this book and he was right! Isaacson begins at Steve's childhood and spans the entirety of his life. Through a mix of pure genius and extreme eccentricity, Steve built, not only Apple, but also raised Pixar from the ashes to become the most innovative graphic animation company of it's time. Steve knew how to manipulate people and how to get them to work for him. He chose only the best teams and never settled for less than perfection in any product he made. He was an extreme personality and many times difficult to deal with, but Steve Jobs was pure genius.

Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson is just a huge book that I thought I'd never get through! It was a great read though. Isaacson wrote an unbiased account of Steve's life. He included the good, the bad and the personal. The book never drug or got hung up on one thing too long. It still amazes me how one man can do as much as Steve Jobs did in one lifetime that was cut way too short. Thank you Walter Isaacson for giving us a glimpse into Steve Jobs' amazing life.
