really liked it

Wow, I certainly learned a lot about Steve Jobs' life, and about the rise of technology in North America (and the world) at the same time. This book was compelling not just because of Steve's crazy personality and epic rise and fall and rise again, but because it was like reading a history of technology of my life.
As stated by the author right from the beginning (and throughout the book) this is an attempt to document Steve Jobs' life as honestly as possible: no sugarcoating, no assumptions, to judgements. It is what it is.
The man accomplished some amazing things, and though his life might seem charmed it certainly wasn't easy. I might not have liked Steve if I met him in person, but after reading this book I have a huge respect for his vision and his perseverance to accomplish what was thought to be impossible.
Recommended for people who grew up with 5 1/2 inch floppies, and those who have ever loved their iPod.
