really liked it

Steve Jobs's biography was published in 2011 & written by Walter Issacson.

You get to know how this man grew into one of the most progressive thinkers, he changed the world in a way that effects every single one of us, and his contribution to the technology is immeasurable.

And that's a part of the book, but what I got from it, it the price he had to pay to get there.
To have such a brilliant mind, it comes as a cost of being a sociopath.

He hurt & humiliated lots of people along the way, and couldn't care less about it, even if he was aware of his actions.

Steve cared so much about what he does, there are probably very few people in the world on that level of being a perfectionist.

What I love about this book is that this is not a transparent writer,
he gives his criticism of Jobs, without judging him, he presents the good and the bad, and Jobs had a lot of both.

Jobs was such an interesting guy, so this is a fascinating book
I think 2 examples shows how hard his struggle was:

First, he found it so hard to decide on furniture for his house, that he spent years sitting on pillows in rooms full of nothing, all because he couldn't make up his mind. Most of us will say “I like this one, maybe I'll change it in a year”, but that's not an option for him. It's a yes, or a no, very black & white

One time, he held a company meeting, to decide the particular color of grey to the toilet sign of the company offices
He cared about every little thing
even things that seem irrelevant to us,
are so important to him
That perfectionism created brilliant things that we all love using, but it came at a cost not only to the people around Jobs, but to Jobs himself.

When he found out he has cancer, he decided against conventional treatment, & instead he went on a juice diet, thinking it would eliminate the cancer.

I can't judge this decision, because chemo is horrible, but this goes to show: when he makes up his mind, no one will change it, ever.

I'm glad the author didn't focus on the cancer and the end, instead of focusing on his death, he focused on his life, which was an amazing journey, full of success and struggle.
