really liked it
bookshelves: biographies, recommended-for-personal-growth

three thoughts:

1. personally, I didn't like that this book was organized more around theme's than chronologically, minor annoyance.

2. (rather heavy) acid use somewhat directly led to computer we use and know today.

3. in America more so than anywhere else we want to put self made billionaires on a pedestal, does an asshole like Jobs belong on one? in my opinion yes because to poorly quote jobs, 'I did not invent the language and math I use, or make the shirt I m wearing, I stood on the shoulders of others and in doing became tall, I simply wanted to use what talents I had to give something back to our species'

I may not be a genius but SJ inspired me to take pride in working a (mundane) job because it is a very small way to give back to the species.

for that line of thinking he should be on a pedestal.
