1923 Edition PENAL CODE [UNANNOTATED] With an Appendix of 842 Questions on California Law Adapted to the Wants of Policemen, Game Wardens, By JAMES M. KERR Los Angeles, California The California Law Book Company 1923 FOREWORD The Penal Code has been fully and carefully revised by me to the close of the forty-fifth session of the State Legislature, and, as herewith presented, contains every Penal Code section added, amended, or repealed,— embodying the Penal Law as it is in force in California today, aside from the statutes containing penal provisions, or "sanctions," which do not properly find a place in a Penal Code. To meet a want not heretofore supplied, the Penal Code is issued in this neat and handy edition, unannotated, for the convenient use of Policemen, Game Wardens, City Marshals, Constables, and all other persons and officers having to do with the enforcement of the Penal Laws of the state. This edition will be kept right up-to-date for all purchasers, by means of gummed insets, which can at all times be readily inserted, and furnished after the adjournment of each biennial Legislature, at a nominal cost. |
