Henry W. Bond died, and on October 13th Hon. Robert Franklin Walker was elected Chief Jus tice. Hon. Richard L. Goode of St. Louis was appointed by Governor Gardner on October 23rd to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Judge Bond, and qualified on November 1st. Judge Charles B. Faris resigned to become Judge of the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Missouri, and Hon. John I. Williamson of Kansas City was on November 1st appointed by the Governor to fill the vacancy and qualified November 3, 1919. |
