Chap. xlv. THEN he brought me back the way of the gate of the outward fanctuary which looketh toward the caft; and it was fhut.

2 Then faid the LORD unto me, This gate thall be shut, it fhall not be opened, and no man fhall enter in by it: becaufe the LORD the God of Ifrael hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.

3 It is for the prince: the prince, he shall fit in it to eat bread before the LORD; he hail enter by the way of the porch of that gate, and thall go out by the way of the fame.

4 Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the houfe: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the houfe of the Lord: and I fell upon my tace.

5 And the LORD faid unto me, Son of man, mark well, and behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears all that I fay unto thee concerning ari the ordinances of the houfe of the LORD, and all the laws thereof; and mark well the entering in of the houfe, with every going forth of the fanctuary.

6 And thou shalt fay to the rebellious, even to the house of Ifrael, Thus faith the Lord GOD, O ya Hofe of Ifrael, let it fuffice you of all your abominations,

7 In that ye have brought into my fanc tuary ftrangers uncircumcifed in heart and uncircumcited in desh, to be in my fanctuary, to pollute it, even my houfe, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant, because of all your abominations."

8 And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things but ye have fet keepers of my charge in my fanctuary for yourselves.

Thus faith the Lord GoD; No tranger, Uncircumcifed in heart, nor uncircumcifed in flesh, shall enter into my fanctuary, of any ftranger that is among the children of Ifrael.

10 And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Ifrael went aftray, which went anray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity.

11 Yet they shall be minifters in my fanc tuary, having charge at the gates of the houfe, and ministering to the houfe: they shall flay the burnt offering, and the facrifice for the people, and they thall stand before them to minister unto them.

12 Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and caused the houfe of If rael to fall into iniquity; therefore have I lifted up mine hand against them, faith the Lord Gop, and they thall bear their iniquity. 13 And they fhall not come near unto me, to do the office of a prien unto me, nor to come near to any of my holy things, in the moit holy place: but they mall bear their shame, and their abominations which they have committed.

14 But I will make them keepers of the charge of the houfe for all the fervice thereof, and for all that shall be done therein..

15 But the priests the Levites, the fons of

Zadok, that kept the charge of my fanc. tuary, when the children of Ifrael went aftray from me, they shall come near to me 10 minuter unto me, and they hall ftand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, faith the Lord GOD:

16 They shall enter into my fanétuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minifter uuto me, and they shall keep my charge.

22 Neither thall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away; but they thall take maidens of the feed of the house of Ifrael, or a widow that had a priest before.

23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and caufe them to difcern between the unclean and the clean.

24 And in controverfy they shall stand in judgment; and they thall judge it accort ing to my judgments: and they that keep my laws and my ftatutes in all mine attem blies; and they shall hallow my fabbaths.

25 And they shall come at no dead perfou to defile themfelves: but for father, or for mother, or for fon, or for daughter, for brother, or for fifter that hath had no huf band, they may defile themselves.

31 The priests fhall not eat of any thing that is deal of itfelt, or torn, whether it be fowl or beat. CHAP. XLV. 1 The portion of land for the fanctuary, 6 for the city, and for the prince. Moreover, when ye thall divide by lot the

11 And in the feats and in the folemnities the meat offering fhall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.

12 Now when the prince fhall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, one thall then open him the gate that looketh toward the ear, and he thall prepare his burnt odering and his peace offerings, as he did on the fabbath day: then he thall go forth: and after his going forth one thall that the gate.

16 Thus faith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his fons, the inheritance Thereof shall be his fons, it all be their poffefion by inheritance.

19 After he brought me through the entry, which was at the fide of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the north; and, behold, there was a place on the two fides weftward.

20 Then faid he unto me, This is the place where the priests thall boil the trefpafs offering and the fin offering, where they fhall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out into the outer court, to fanctify the people.

21 Then he brought me forth into the outer court, and caufed me to pafs by the four corners of the court: and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.

22 In the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: thefe four corners were of one meafure.

23 And there was a row of building round about in them, round about them four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows

Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the houfe; and, behold, waters Tued out from under the threshold of the house eartward: for the fore front of the houfe food toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right fide of the house, at the fouth fide of the altar.

2 Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the outer gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right fide.

3 And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thou fand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ancles.

4 Again be measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

5 Afterwards he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were rifen, waters to fwim in, a river that could not be pailed over.

And he faid unto me, Son of man, haft thou feen this? Then he brought me, and caufed me to return to the brink of the river.

7 Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one fide and on the other,

8 Then faid he unto me, Thefe waters iffue out toward the east country, and go down into the defert, and go into the fea: whith being brought forth into the fea, the waters thall be healed.

9 And it fhall come to pass that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whitherfoever the river fhall come, thall live: and there fhall be a very great multitude of fifh, because thefe waters hall come thither: for they fhall be healed; and every thing fhall live whither the river cometh.

10 And it shall come to pass that the fishers fhall stand upon it from En-geli even unto En-eglaim; they all be a place to spread forth nets; their fifh fhall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great fea, exceeding many.

But the miry places thereof and the marthes thereof thall not be healed; they sha!! be given to falt.

12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this ide and on that fide, fhall grow all trees for meat, whofe leaf fhall not fade, neither thall the fruit thereof be confumed: it fhall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they infued out of the fanctuary: and the fruit thereof fhall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for me.
