In pursuance of the provisions of the Constitution and Laws of the State of Vermont, the House of Representatives convened in the State House, in Montpelier, on the second Thursday, being the eleventh day, of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six. At ten o'clock, in the forenoon, GEORGE NICHOLS, Esq., Secretary of State, called the House to order, when Prayer was offered by the Rev. LEONARD TENNEY, the representative elect of the town of Thetford.
