The amount authorized for 1950 was $67,300,000-all for CAA. 1 When testifying on the seventeenth decennial census the Bureau of the Census revised the fi average number of employees for 1951 from 7,744.3 (originally reported) to 8,171.6, an increase of 427.3 responding increases, therefore, should be reflected in the total of average employment for 1951 from to 44,695.5 and in permanent positions from 42,251.7 to 42,679.
