We have gone ahead with that program and it has proved very successful. We have cut down a lot of delays. This money is for the continuation of that. Mr. ROONEY. What is the extent of the program contemplated under this request of $136,000 so far as two-tone dialing is concerned? Mr. HORNE. This will take care of that except for some further expansion of stations or something of that nature. But for our existing system this $136,000 will complete the two-tone dialing requirements. Mr. ROONEY. What is the item entitled "Parallel interphone for overloaded circuits"? Mr. HORNE. Between certain of our major centers we have now interphones connecting those centers but between centers such as New York, Chicago, and Boston, particularly here on the eastern seaboard where traffic is heavy, we find that, in order to handle this traffic, we are going to have to have a parallel interphone put in along with the present ones. And that is specifically listed here for overloads on existing circuits which will require a parallel circuit. . Mr. ROONEY.
