STATE-FINANCED SCHOLARSHIP/LOAN PROGRAMS [From State laws: SOUTH DAKOTA [Free tuition is granted to residents of South Dakota who served in the Armed Forces during a period from June 25, 1950, to such date as the Governor shall proclaim unless such tuition to an educational institution is provided by the Federal Government.
