Other British ports. ...... 263,523 The exports of cotton from the port of Savannah (Georgia) for the two years ending on the 1st of September, 1851 and 1852, have been as follows: The lumber business at the port of Savannah, (Georgia,) according to the Republican, has increased rapidly within the last few years; and it will be seen by the fol lowing table that the exports for the past year have exceeded those of any previous one by several millions of feet.
