If convict can write he shall sign his name under such description.

Superintendent of state prisons to cause all prisoners to be measured by the Bertillon system for identification of criminals.

Warden to keep records of all convicts, including name, age, sex, color, height. nationality and each and every other fact, characteristic and condition, natural or artificial, that may in any way tend to aid in identification of prisoner.
