AN ACT to appropriate money for the cost of assessing and collecting the revenue, the per diem of the members of the state board of equalization, with emergency clause. SECTION 1. For assessing and collecting revenues. SECTION Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Missouri, as follows: Section 1. For assessing and collecting revenues.-There is hereby appropriated out of the state revenue fund for the purpose of paying the cost of assessing and collecting the revenue for the years 1921 and 1922, including the per diem of the members of the state board of equalization, the sum of six hundred thousand ($600,000) dollars. Sec. 2. Emergency. It being necessary to use a portion of the money hereby appropriated before the expiration of ninety days after the adjournment of the present general assembly, an emergency exists within the meaning of the Constitution; therefore, this act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
