Fuel Conservation Fellowships

-

Domestic Mining, Mineral, and Mineral

This is a program of discretionary grants to assist students of exceptional ability, who demonstrate a financial need, to undertake graduate study in domestic mining, mineral, and mineral fuel conservation. Fellowships awarded under this program are for graduate and professional study leading to an advanced degree or research incident to the presentation of a doctoral dissertation. Fellowships may be awarded for periods of study not to exceed three years to students accepted as advanced degree candidates by an institution of higher education, or who have completed all course work and examinations required for a doctor's degree and whose doctoral dissertation proposal has been accepted. Any accredited institution with a graduate/professional program leading to an advanced degree in mining, mineral, and mineral fuel conservation, including oil, gas, coal, oil shale, and uranium, is eligible.

Fellowships are for $3,000 plus dependency allowance with additional $4,500 to the institution for each fellow.
