In reply to our telephone coversation, please find enclosed supporting documentation to those allegations stated in Rachel Whitish's, Chairwoman, Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe, testimony of June 21, 1977.

We regret the delay in getting this to you; however, we wanted to ensure cach "case" was complete.

Another concern of the Shoalwater Bay Indian Tribe, is the one-quarter degree blood_quantim required by education programs under P.L.93-638. Many of our Tribal Members are deprived of education because of the Department of Interior's assumption that they know best who is "Indian" and who is not.

We thank you for your concern for the Indians of this great country.
