2. Services to Clients a. Approximately 39% of the participants served by the As an SDA, the County is responsible for welfare programs throughout the County in terms of providing coordination of services to welfare clients. The County feels that service to this client population will provide much-needed services to a segment usually not served by employment and training programs. At the same time, the County will reduce welfare dependency and will maximize access for this population segment to employment and training opportunities. Presently the County is negotiating with other SDA's regarding the service to General Relief employable recipients that reside in their SDA areas. To date these SDAS appear receptive to the County's adult targeted welfare recipient program. b. Determination will be made at a later date. Selection of Service Providers a. b. Due to time constraints, the County is still in the process of selecting service providers to operate the JTPA program. Service providers selected will have been contractors under the CETA program. No new service providers will be contracted with during this nine month interim program, unless it is in response to a targeted RSP that the County's current contractors cannot provide services for. Title III Program a. The County is receiving approximately $1 million in JTPA Title III funds to administor County-wide Dislocated Worker Programs 8/1/83 through 6/30/84. b.
