Directed by the President to co-operate with the authorities of the State of New York in examining and deciding upon exterior pier and bulkhead lines on Hudson River from State dani at Troy to the city of Hudson. C.; on improvement of Pass Cavallo Inlet, Aransas Pass and Bay, and entrance to Galveston Harbor, Tex.; on improvement of Savannah River and Harbor, Ga.; and to examine the officers of the Corps of Engineers with view to their promotion. Member of a joint board of Army and Navy officers upon plans and location of a bridge over Thames River at New London, Conn. Directed by the President to co-operate with the authorities of the State of New York in examining and deciding upon exterior pier and bulkhead lines on Hudson River from State dam at Troy to the city of Hudson.
