SENATE JOURNAL.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 1, 1875.

The Senate met at 12 o'clock M., and was called to order by Lieutenant-Governor Henry W. Thomas.

Prayer by Rev. Dr. T. L. Preston.

The President announced a quorum present, and laid before the Senate a communication from the secretary of the commonwealth transmitting a list of members of the Senate, which was read as follows:
