Resolve authorizing the removal of the colors presented to the Seventeenth Regiment of Maine Volunteers by the merchants of Portland.

Resolved, That the adjutant general be authorized to restore to the association of the seventeenth regiment of Maine volunteers a stand of colors which was presented to said regiment by the merchants of Portland and others, and which was deposited with the state at the close of the war.

Resolved, That the sum of five hundred dollars be appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the county commissioners of the county of Penobscot, in building a road in said township number one, known as the Rocky Rips road, leading from the town of Lowell to the town of Greenbush, in said county.
