Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in Legislature assembled, as follows:

SECT. 1. Nelson W. Gamage, his heirs, successors or assigns, are hereby authorized and empowered to construct and maintain a wharf on the westerly side of his lot, on Rutherford's island, in the town of Bristol, and to extend the same to low water mark at lowest tides.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in Legislature assembled, as follows:

SECT. 1. Abraham C. Fernald, James Clement, junior, Charles authorized to con- H. SECT. 1. All persons are forbidden to take fish of any kind, in any manner, from the Adams pond, so called, and its main tributary, below the highway leading from West to North Newfield, direct, in the town of Newfield, county of York, for the term of five years.

An act to prevent the taking or destroying of Fish in Hobbs' Mill-Pond, in the town of
Farmington.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in Legislature assembled, as follows:

SECT. 1. If any person or persons shall take or destroy any mill-pond for two fish in Hobbs' Mill-Pond, between said Hobbs' mill-dam and the Twin Bridges, so called, situate in the town of Farmington, for the term of two years from the passage of this act, or shall, after the expiration of said term, except in the months of June and March, in each year, take or destroy any fish in said mill-pond, said person or persons shall forfeit for each fish so taken or destroyed, the sum of three dollars, to be recovered by complaint or action for debt, one-half to the use of the town where the offence is committed, and one-half to the person prosecuting therefor. SECT. 2. This act shall take effect when approved.

An act to amend "an act relating to the City Schools of Bangor," approved February eighteenth, eighteen hundred and seventy-five.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in Legislature assembled, as follows:

SECT. 1. Section one of "an act relating to the City Schools of Bangor," approved February eighteenth, eighteen hundred and seventy-five, is hereby amended by inserting after the words "shall consist of," in the second line thereof, the following words: 'not less than three nor more than,' so that said section as amended shall read as follows:

'SECT. 1. The superintending school committee of the city of Bangor shall consist of not less than three nor more than seven members, to be elected by the city council.'

SECT. 2. This act shall take effect when approved.
