ULI-the Urban Land Institute is a nonprofit education and

research organization that fosters and encourages high standards of land use planning and development. To this end, the Institute conducts research, interprets current land use trends,

disseminates pertinent information, and sponsors a wide variety of education programs. Established in 1936, ULI is recognized as

one of America's most respected and widely quoted sources of objective information on urban planning, growth, and development. Its information resources are widely used by new and seasoned professionals.

The Institute relies heavily on the experience of its nearly 15,000 members and associates, who include developers, builders, architects, city planners, investors, planning and renewal agencies, and financial institutions. Member involvement in information development ensures both objectivity and

practicality, and has helped ULI set standards of excellence in development practice through its information resources.
