Esteban Torres presiding. Present. Chairman Torres, Representatives Pelosi and Panetta. Chairman TORRES. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. My name is Congressman Esteban Torres from Los Angeles, CA, and I am a Member of the House Banking, Urban Affairs and Finance Committee of the United States Congress, House of Representatives. I have had this morning a small occasion to be able to walk down the business street of Watsonville and survey for myself the extensive damage that took place here to your business community. Further in the day, I hope to look and travel through the residential area to see the impact of the earthquake there. To be sure, there is (1) |
