I, Cato Sells, Commissioner of Indian Affairs, do hereby certify that I have compiled the acts and parts of acts of Congress enacted from the year 1890 to the year 1914, inclusive, relating to the Five Civilized Tribes of Indians of Oklahoma, and that the copies of the acts and parts of acts of Congress hereto attached and forming said compilation are true copies of said acts and parts of acts as the same appear in the printed volumes of the United States Statutes at Large. In testimony whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and caused the seal of this office to be affixed on the day and year first above written.

RESOLUTION BY MR. CARTER.

Resolved, That the Committee on Indian Affairs shall have printed 1,000 copies of the compilation of laws relating to the Five Civilized Tribes in Oklahoma.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was adopted unanimously at a regular meeting of the Committee on Indian Affairs held in the Indian Affairs committee room this 19th day of February, 1915, at which a quorum of said committee were present.

Act of May 2, 1890-An act to provide a temporary government for the

Territory of Oklahoma, to enlarge the jurisdiction of the United States

Act of June 12, 1890-An act to amend section one and section nine of an

act entitled "An act to authorize the Denison and Washita Valley Rail-

way Company to construct and operate a railway through the Indian

Territory, and for other purposes," approved July first, eighteen hun-

dred and eighty-six (26 Stat. L., 147).

Act of June 21, 1890-An act to grant the right of way to the Galena,

Guthrie and Western Railway Company through the Indian Territory,

and for other purposes (26 Stat. L., 170)‒‒

Act of June 27, 1890-An act granting to the Chicago, Kansas and Ne-

braska Railway Company power to sell and convey to the Chicago,

Rock Island and Pacific Railway Company all the railway, property,

rights, and franchises of the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway

Company in the Territory of Oklahoma and in the Indian Territory

(26 Stat. L., 181) –

Act of June 30, 1890--An act to grant the right of way to the Pittsburgh,
Columbus and Fort Smith Railway Company through the Indian Ter-
ritory, and for other purposes (26 Stat. L., 184)--

Act of August 19, 1890-An act making appropriations for the current

and contingent expenses of the Indian Department and for fulfilling

treaty stipulations with various Indian tribes for the year ending June

thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninety-one, and for other purposes (26

Stat. L., 336) .......

Act of September 26, 1890-An act granting the right of way to the

Hutchinson and Southern Railroad Company to construct and operate

a railroad, telegraph, and telephone line from the city of Anthony, in

the State of Kansas, through the Indian Territory, to some point in

the county of Grayson, in the State of Texas (26 Stat. L., 485) –.
Act of October 1, 1890-An act granting the right of way to the Sherman
and Northwestern Railway Company through the Indian Territory, and
for other purposes (26 Stat. L., 632).

Act of October 1, 1890-An act to refer to the Court of Claims certain

claims of the Shawnee and Delaware Indians and the freedmen of the

Cherokee Nation, and for other purposes (26 Stat. L., 636).

Act of October 1, 1890-An act giving, upon conditions and limitations

therein contained, the assent of the United States to certain leases of

rights to mine coal in the Choctaw Nation (26 Stat. L., 640)‒‒‒‒‒
