that has been cut by the recent order to 22, but they have been making it.

Mr. MEEHAN. Since the war. That was since the end of the war. Mr. DEIGHAN. I am sorry these gentlemen have left who come from the rural districts.

This table I would like to submit as part of the record and it was prepared by a liquor dispenser store of New York.

Let us get this grain situation straight.

This gives the grains used in spirits in the years 1935 to 1941, inclusive, and the percentage is no larger in any year excepting 1937, when it amounted to more than 1 percent, which was a peak year.

The CHAIRMAN. The committee will have to adjourn, but you may be permitted to insert that in the record.

Mr. SIMANDL. I think that was the information you wanted, Mr. Chairman.

The CHAIRMAN. Yes; turn it over to the reporter for insertion into the record.

(The table above referred to will be found in the beginning of Mr. Deighan's remarks.)

The CHAIRMAN. We thank you for coming down here, and we will look into this matter.

(Thereupon, the hearing in the foregoing matter was concluded.)
