TPB contains detailed information about every vaccine approved for use in the United States and the diseases they are designed to prevent. There are a few new chapters in this edition of which one is about vaccines to prevent COVID-19.

About the author (2021)

Gary S. Marshall, MD is Professor of Pediatrics, Chief of the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and Director of the Pediatric Clinical Trials Unit at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He also serves as an attending physician at Norton Children's Hospital and participates in an outpatient infectious diseases practice.
