THERAPEUTIC HINTS.

Asthma.-The extreme debility, weakness and depression, which is present in the majority of all asthmatic patients, is most satisfactorily overcome by the continued use of Bovinine. It rapidly restores the blood to a normal standard, stimulates and supplies nutrition, and fortifies the general bodily resistance.

Calcreose. The Maltbie Chemical Co.'s products appeal to most doctors because they are winners. One of these, a real winner, is calcreose, which is effectually advertised on page xxi of this journal. There you will find convincing statements which will surely interest you. Better turn right over to that page and read it now.

The Treatment of Rheumatic Infections, is the title of a cloth-bound book of 131 pages, presenting about all that is worth knowing about this new form of bacterial derivative in the treatment of acute and chronic infection. It was originated by Dr. A. F. Schaier, of Bakersfield, California, in October, 1910. Since then, it has been used in thousands of cases, with generally favorable results. Want of space forbids an extended review of the work, but if at all interested, address Parke, Davis & Co., Detroit, Mich., mentioning THE SUMMARY, and they wil cheerfully send

you a coру.

A Sinusoidal Reflex Chart, drawn by Chas. L. Ireland, M.D., showing the nerve centers of the spine, which can be stimulated with the sinusoidal current, has been published by the McIntosh Battery and Optical Co., 322 W. Washington St., Chicago, Ill. With a pad at the sacrum and an interrupting sponge electrode applied to the appropriate nerve center, practically any organ in the body may be contracted or dilated, according to Dr. Abrams' method (Spondylotherapy). The chart is $1.00, postpaid. Ask for circular describing same.

Important!

We have maintained a "Business Chance" column in The Summary" for many years, and while it has always been more or less popular with our readers, yet we feel as though the opportunities offered there, from time to time, were not recognized as they deserved to be. Every reader should carefully look the "Business Chance" column over, as there is something new every month.
