Public Law 94–163, as Amended AN ACT To increase domestic energy supplies and availability; to restrain energy

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That this Act may be cited as the “Energy Policy and Conservation Act”. (42 U.S.C. 6201 note)
