Further continuing certain temporary Provisions concerning Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction in England.

HEREAS an Act was passed in the Session holden in Preamble. the Tenth and Eleventh Years of the Reign of Her

present Majesty, intituled "An Act to amend the Law as 10 & 11 Vict. "to Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction in England," by which it was enacted, c. 98. 5 that certain of the Provisions therein contained should continue until the First Day of August One thousand eight hundred and fortyeight, and, if Parliament were then sitting, until the End of the then Session of Parliament; and such Provisions have been continued by sundry Acts until the First Day of August One thousand eight 10 hundred and fifty-four, and to the End of the then next Session of Parliament: And whereas it is expedient that the said Provisions should be further continued: Be it therefore enacted by the Queen's Certain Promost Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of recited Act the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present further 15 Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, That the said Provisions of the said Act shall continue until the First Day of August One thousand eight hundred and fifty-five, and to the End of the then next Session of Parliament,
