RULES ON ADMIRALTY

DISTRICT COURT OF GUAM
TERRITORY OF GUAM

The following Admiralty Rules, Number 1 to 60, inclusive, shall constitute the local admirality rules of the District Court of Guam as of August 18, 1954, the date of approval by the court and of the Judicial Council of Guam, pursuant to the authority vested in the District Court of Guam by Admiralty Rule 44 of the Supreme Court of the United States:

RULE 1. PLEADINGS AND VERIFICATIONS THEREOF

Pleadings and answers to interrogatories, except on behalf of the United States, shall be verified. Verification shall be by the parties or one of them if within the Territory of Guam; otherwise they may be verified by an agent, attorney-in-fact, or proctor, who shall state briefly the sources of his knowledge or informa
