Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), That Burnside, Kentucky, shall hereafter be known and recognized as the original home and founding place of the first American Boy Scout Troop as it was organized in the year 1908 and was later incorporated as the Boy Scouts of America on February 8, 1910.

AMENDMENT OF CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT ACT

The Senate resumed the consideration of the bill (S. 2857) to amend the Civil Service Retirement Act so as to provide for refunds of contributions in the case of annuitants whose length of service exceeds the amount necessary to provide the maximum annuity allowable under such act.
