PETITIONS AND MEMORIAL The VICE PRESIDENT laid before the Senate a resolution of the House of Representatives of the State of Georgia, favoring the solution of the health problems of the aged population and remonstrating the enactment of legislation designed to increase social security taxes by encroaching upon the function of the community in caring for its own problems of the health care of the aged; which was referred to the Committee on Finance.
