GRANT OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE TO CERTAIN ALIENS UNDER SECTION 6 OF THE REFUGEE RELIEF ACT OF 1953

Mr. HOLLAND presented a resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners of the County of Sarasota, Fla., favoring an authorization for the expenditure during the next Federal fiscal year of $2,000,000 for the continuance of the construction of the Intercoastal Waterway from the termination of the existing Okeechobee Waterway at the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River to the Anclote River, Fla., and additional funds from time to time to completion; which was referred to the Committee on Public Works.
