The subcommittee met, pursuant to call, at 10 a.m., in room 1334, Longworth House Office Building, Hon. Harley O. Staggers (chairman of the subcomittee) presiding.

Mr. STAGGERS. The committee will come to order.

The Subcommittee on Commerce and Finance of the House Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce will begin hearings this morning on several bills to promote price and quality stabilization.
