said Eighth and Ninth Revisions of the United States Pharmacopoeia or the Third and Fourth Editions of the National Formulary, the Ninth Revision of the said United States Pharmacopoeia and the Fourth Edition of the said National Formulary shall in all cases be the controlling standard.”

CHAPTER 44.

AN ACT for the benefit of the Kentucky Schools for the DeafWhite and Colored.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

That there is hereby appropriated out of the general revenue of the State for the benefit of the Kentucky Schools for the Deaf for white and colored pupils located at Danville, Kentucky, the following sums of money for the specific purposes named and set out herein, as follows:

Section 1. Whereas, there has been a great increase in the price of provisions and commodities of all kinds consumed and used by the above said schools during the past two years, thus making it impossible to maintain them properly for the usual full term of each year on the present appropriations received from the State Treasury, therefore, be it now enacted by the General Assembly of Kentucky that Sub-section two and Sub-section three of Section 298d, be amended and re-enacted so that the per capita allowance for each of the above said schools is hereby increased from one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) per annum for each pupil to two hundred dollars ($200.00) per annum for each pupil.

Section 2. For the purpose of equipping the print

ing department of the school for the white deaf to better prepare the pupils in obtaining positions upon leaving school, the sum of four thousand two hundred and fifty dollars ($4,250) is hereby appropriated for a type-setting machine and for other necessary printing office equipment and supplies.

Section 3. To rebuild the walls of the four boilers and re-set same in the power-plant of the school for the white deaf there is hereby apropriated the sum of four hundred and fifty dollars ($450.00.)

Section 4. For the purpose of furnishing motor power for the various machines in the carpenter shop of the school for the white deaf there is hereby appropriated the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) to purchase one or more electric motors.

Section 5. The said appropriations made under this act shall be paid to the Board of Commissioners of the Kentucky Schools for the deaf, white and colored, in the same manner as already provided by law, and any unexpended balance of the appro priations under Sections two, three, four and five of this act shall cover into the State Treasury.

Section 6. Because of the urgent need of the funds hereby appropriated, an emergency is declared to exist, and this act shall take effect from and after its approval by the Governor.

CHAPTER 45.

AN ACT dividing the Commonwealth of Kentucky into one hun. dred representative districts.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

§ 1. That the State of Kentucky be and the same is hereby divided into one hundred representative districts, as follows:

The first district shall be composed of the counties of Fulton and Hickman.

Second district of the counties of Carlisle and Ballard.

Third district of the county of Graves.

Fourth district of the county of McCracken.
Fifth district of the counties of Crittenden and
Livingston.

Sixth district of the county of Caldwell.
Seventh district of the county of Calloway.

Eighth district of the counties of Marshall and Lyon.

Ninth district of the county of Trigg.

Tenth district of the county of Union.

Eleventh district of the county of Henderson. Twelfth district of the county of Webster. Thirteenth district of the county of Hopkins. Fourteenth district of the county of Christian. Fifteenth district of the county of Todd. Sixteenth district of the county of Logan. Seventeenth district of the county of Muhlenberg. Eighteenth district of the county of McLean. Nineteenth district of that part of Daviess county outside of the corporate limits of Owensboro.

Twentieth district of that part of Daviess county embracing the territory within the corporate limits of the city of Owensboro.

Twenty-first district of the county of Ohio.

Twenty-second district of the counties of Hancock and Breckinridge.

Twenty-third district of the county of Grayson. Twenty-fourth district of the counties of Butler and Edmonson.

Twenty-fifth district of the city of Bowling Green and all voting precincts adjoining said city on the south side of Barren River.

Twenty-sixth district the county of Warren outside of the boundaries included in the Twenty-fifth district hereof.

All of Jefferson county outside of the corporate limits of the City of Louisville, and the forty-second to fifty-third precincts, inclusive, of third ward, twenty-seventh and twentyeighth precincts of fifth ward, forty-ninth and fiftieth precincts of seventh ward, thirty-sixth precinct of eleventh ward and the thirty second to fortythird precincts, inclusive, of the twelfth ward of the City of Louisville.

Fifty-second district. First to fifteenth precincts inclusive, of the first ward of City of Louisville.

Fifty-third district. All of second ward and all of third ward except forty-second to fifty-third precincts, inclusive of third ward of the City of Louisville.

Fifty-fourth district. All of fourth ward and all of fifth ward except the twenty-seventh and twentyeighth precincts of the City of Louisville.

Fifty-fifth district. All of sixth ward, and all of the seventh ward except the forty-ninth and fiftieth precincts of the seventh ward of the City of Louisville.

Fifty-sixth district. Of the county of Jefferson, embracing the territory of the eighth and ninth wards of the City of Louisville.

Fifty-seventh district. All of the eleventh ward except the thirty-sixth precinct, and all of the twelfth ward, except the thirty-second to forty-third precincts, inclusive, of the twelfth ward, City of Louisville.

Fifty-eighth district of the county of Jefferson, embracing the territory of the eleventh and twelfth wards of the City of Louisville.

Fifty-ninth district of the counties of Trimble and Oldham.
