FOREWORD It is with great pleasure that I join with my colleagues on the Labor and Public Welfare Committee in bringing to the attention of the Senate this compilation of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act, which reflect the most recent amendments to this law. The last compilation of the Vocational Rehabilitation Act was published in December 1968, and significant changes have been made since that time. I believe it is quite fitting that this compilation will be the first publication prepared by the newly created Subcommittee on the Handicapped. Under the able leadership of Chairman Jennings Randolph this Subcommittee will examine all legislation for the handicapped within the jurisdiction of the Labor and Public Welfare Committee. This compilation will be an important document in that Subcommittee's study of future legislative action, and an invaluable tool for all interested in rehabilitative services. HARRISON A.
