NORTH CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS
This handbook provides information which is of concern to civilian and military families with school age children in the North Chicago and Great Lakes areas. It describes our educational facilities, educational programs, and student services.
While this handbook answers many questions about our school system, it is recognized that certain problems may arise and some families will have unique educational needs. These kinds of problems can best be worked out through direct contact with the principals of the schools.
It is recommended that this handbook be kept throughout the year for reference purposes. Since schedules, fees, etc., are subject to change, that information is not included in this publication.
We think education in our school system is exciting and productive. We invite you to be a part of this important experience.
